New Pal Spirit Wear
Gathering SalesAfter adding the students homeroom to the google form, the sale opened up to the students. We got more feedback than expected. We placed orders in the bags, and Lucy emailed the client and confirmed both what was ordered but also the price of the spirit wear. Once the order was confirmed, we delivered these orders during homeroom, as we didn't want to interrupt class time. Wrapping upTo wrap this project up, we had Mr. Large email as a last call for all students and staff. We got around 10 more orders after doing this. After a week or so, we went and deleted the questions on the form and put that the sale is over.
In conclusion, we raised over $700, and had around 90 orders. This project was one that will keep on giving. Future service learning students will have this money to help fund their projects- rather than applying for a grant. This project has taught me a lot about organization, money management, and work ethic. Organization was vital to keep all of the orders together and making sure everyone had the clothes they ordered. Money management was important as we learned how to deposit money to the bookstore, and we learned how to make sure all the money was in a secure place. I also worked on my work ethic. I did this as there were days I was not motivated, but I had to push through in order to get the job done.

IntroductionMr. Large had extra spirit wear and had the idea to sell the items in order to raise funds for future service learning classes. Lucy, Kendall and I decided to organize and run this sale. The ProcessTo begin this, I created a google form with pictures of all of the products. On this, we asked what we felt were prices they would be willing to pay for each product. Mr. Large send it to the teachers. While waiting for responses, Lucy and Kendall went through and sorted each piece of clothing my size and style. In the meantime, I used photoshop to design a poster that showed a preview of some of the clothing items. First SaleAfter deciding on pricing, we made a new google sheet and opened sales to the teachers and staff before the students. We got 28 orders and are getting ready to bag and deliver them. We will also be sending out the form to students at the end of this week. Distributing SalesWe gathered the orders, and sorted by the location of the classroom. We slowly started delivering orders, and will be finishing up deliveries today. The teachers that have received orders have seemed ecstatic about their new orders.
